Current activities

Book projects

Publication of books on the Swiss butterflies and moths. Since 1987 three books with a total of over 2000 pages, 4000 images and 70 color tables where edited by us and published by the second largest nature conservation organization of Switzerland. Overall over 20'000 books were sold. Two new book projects have been started in 2010 and 2011.

All work is done by volunteers.

Events

- Organization of yearly symposiums on Swiss butterflies and moths. The 2010 and 2011 presentations covered topics like conservation projects or recent research results e.g. on butterfly monitoring or on butterfly ecology.

Funding

Our projects are financed by supporting sponsors. Any possible revenues of own activities are reinvested in own projects or, in absence of such, would be used to support butterfly conservation projects.
